Not Ideal For Woodturners

This product is fine for screwdrivers, dividers etc but if your toolrest is cast iron then your chisels will not travel smoothly due to the fact that they become magnetised over time. Also if you sharpen with a bench grinder the metal filings become stuck on the chisels and this is a disaster when working with wet timbers due to the reaction between metal and tannins in the wood.

OK but....

Nice idea and does hold most tools, some of the larger wood turning chisels are too much for one magnetic bar, so needed two. the down side you have to remember is that it will magnetise your tools in time!!
