Mine's over 6 years old ...

... and still in use, perhaps the best general purpose hand saw I've ever had especially at the price ... and just about to order another.

Fantastic value for money saw

I bought this saw and the equivalent tenon saw as I am setting up a workshop and training facility at the Kilfinan Community Forest and did not want to spend too much on equipment to be used by students. I am hugely impressed by the Japanese style combined rip and crosscut teeth which not only cut really well but aid cutting in a straight line. They work almost as well as my best Japanese saw which cost £60. Amazing value for money.

Great Product

I have been using this saw for all sorts of outdoor fencing and landscaping work. Cuts through new and old sleepers no problem at all. Makes cutting feel easier.

Best saw under £10?

After a long time struggling on with my old favourite handsaw, the time had come to buy a new one. Most of my work is outdoor stuff in tanalised timber, the 550mm 7tpi saw has been excellent for this type of timber. Straight cutting, fast and much less effort than a normal hardpoint saw, well worth an extra couple of quid over the usual cheap saw. Recommended. P.S. Keep your fingers well away!
