This work light has all the features of the 7 LED version, but is much more powerful and more heavily built. Using a 3 Watt LED to provide a high level of light, it can be powered either with 2 x AAA batteries or by the included 230V transformer. The base has a high powered magnet inset into it for use on machinery, or it can be set onto the steel "C" clamp where it can be used on shelves or workbenches up to 65mm thick. The 400mm steel stem is highly flexible and holds the alloy lamp head exactly where you want it. The lamp itself can provide either a spot pool of intense light or, by simply sliding the machined alloy hood, provide a softer broad illumination over a wider area. Use it on the bench with the transformer, move it to a machine and use the batteries, how easy is that? Simple to use, robust and very versatile, this work light is a must in any workshop.

Very goodFeels solidly made, and the light is bright and easy to focus. I use it on mains power at my scroll saw, where it is excellent. It is also easy to detach and use on battery power over at my router table. Very pleased with this purchase.

GreatThis product is excellent. It is so versatile, in the respect it can be put more or less anywhere, with its strong magnetic bottom, which has a felt protection, so will not scratch when put onto your metal equipment, which I've found happens with another heavy duty magnetic light. It also has a screw metal bracket, which the magnetic based can be stuck to . It can be run off electric or battery. It has a fairly wide beam or can be used pin point. I scroll saw and find it brilliant. I bought it when it was cheaper, and think it is rather expensive now. However, great piece of equipment
