Description

In Detail

When larger work is to be turned it is often difficult to get the key down the side of the piece to tighten or loosen the chuck. To overcome this we have produced a long key to fit the keyed versions of the Clubman's chuck as well as the previous model Woodturner's chuck. A replacement standard length key for the Clubman and Woodturner's is also available.

Great. Pricey.

This is like most Axminster machined parts beautifully made, which just about makes up for the high price tag. Why buy it? If you have button jaws for one of the clubman chucks and have tried to adjust them with the standard key you'll know why... It's painful on the knuckles and you have to tighten inch by inch. With this key it's a breeze. So as a well made niche tool it's inevitably pricey.
