Description

In Detail

Used in conjunction with the Ring & Centre Point Live Centre, this friction drive is ideal for small spindle turning. As the points on both ends are the same, the timber can be quickly reversed if the grain happens to be running the wrong way. Two other benefits of the drive are (a) that the work can be loaded and loaded quickly when doing a production run and (b) the workpiece will stop revolving in the case of a mishap, a good safety feature for the novice turner.

Brilliant for beginners and school workshops

I use these centres in my school workshop, they're a really safe alternative to the more common four prong drive centres, especially when teaching pupils to use the skew... A must have to build confidence in beginner woodturners if you ask me!

Matched Pair of Ring Centres

Bought these a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very saticfied with them, good quality, and a wonderful way
to be able to turn the stock around without any hassle
whatsoever. And on top of that it's a great way to practise those hard to control tools without risking catches or flying objects in the shop.

a must have
//Kenneth
