Good but.......

The instructions are just awful. Looking at youtube I found several videos of the "General Drill Grinding Attachment No. 825" (made in the USA). I think the Axminster is a copy. (Chinese made?) On one of the youtube videos was a link to the excellent set of instructions for the General which I was able to download. On the Axminster the lip rest is held on by 2 small self tapping screws. Neither screw was put in straight and are not in alignment, and the lip rest is able to move from side to side (which it shouldn't) as well as up and down (which is correct). It is essential for the lip rest to work correctly for the drill bits to be held securely and in the right position. The feed nut and locking nut are made of plastic instead of metal and the holes for the feed screw seem too large making the feed screw loose. So although the Axminster drill attachment does work very well, I was dissapointed in it's quality. I know £17.15 is not expensive, but I think Axminster could easily sort out the problems I have mentioned.

Good value

Fine value for money. I used it on a slow running water cooled Jet Wetstone and it worked well. I found the instructions confusing. For me, changing the tip overhang while grinding changed the chisel
