Axminster eccentric spiralling chuck

Payed nearly £60 for this chuck many years ago now.I have only used it once since then, due to the poor and brief instructions on its use, which were enclosed with the chuck. I was led to believe at the time when I ordered it, that comprehensive instructions would be included.
This is very sad, because the quality of the chuck is extremely good.
Signed.
Extremely disgruntled customer.

How to use it

I just purchased this system and find the user directions lacking. To show details of how to connect wood to the chuck without hurting the wood you are turning would be a plus. Either a photo series as part of the users guide or a video on U-Tube would be very helpful.

Poor to adjust

Had this item around 12 months now, it does what it says on the tin but it is time consuming to set up and/or adjust, also work holding could have been better thought out, using 3 woodscrews is ok, but I myself will give the gluing option a miss (is hot melt glue really a strong enough bond for an offset workpiece that might not have tailstock support ??? I wouldn't risk it !!!
