Drills supplied for Snappy hinge sinkers in catalogue not long enough.

I ordered items; 500495, 500497, 500499 to fit centre drill for hinge centre sinker.
As per previous reviews it is now some 5 months since comments confer my observations.
AXMINSTER you need to supply goods suitable for purpose, can you kindly ensure your drills are long enough to fit the snappy range of centre drills for hinges.
I WILL NOW HAVE TO RETURN THESE AS THEY OF NO USE.

A bit baffled

Last post folks,
I'm really a bit baffled as, having bought 5 x 55 mm bits I then bought a Trend Centre Hinge Drill tool, assuming these would fit. Wrong again ! - the Trend needs a 79 mm length 5/64 " bit, as does the original American 'Snappy' unit. I really don't know how these can be marketed as replacement drills - they are just too short.

correction to above

Sorry folks, having got a genuine Trend replacement bit I find it is even shorter at 53 mm. !
It looks like I have an older American design with a bit length of about 75 mm. Apologies for any confusion.

not for snappy/trend

I think people should be aware that these drills will not fit the 'Snappy/Trend' range of hinge centre drills. They are only 55mm long and too short to fit the Trend range. I have no fault with their quality and they have a' flat' machined on the end, presumably to fit the range of drills offered by Axminster.
