Package deal comprises the Axminster Hobby Series FM300BC Extractor and the FM300BC Filter Cartridge.
Axminster Hobby Series FM300BC Extractor
This extractor, with its 1.5kW motor, large capacity collection bag and twin 100mm hose inlets, will handle most single workshop machines. Use the single 125mm inlet or the twin 100mm adaptor for two smaller machines. The top cloth bag acts as the filter whilst the lower plastic bag collects the coarse dust and chippings. Plastic bags allow a number of bags to be filled and stored ready for bulk disposal. The extractor's filtration system can be upgraded with the addition of the cartridge filter. The solid connection tube between the impellor housing and collector creates an efficient air flow system. Castors on the base allow for easy mobility around the workshop. This is a good, solid, simple extractor. Lengths of suitable inlet hose are listed under Dust Extraction Accessories. N.B. This machine uses waste sack size 785 x 1,200mm (501187).

Great suctionReally pleased with this extractor it has more than enough suction to easily collect the chippings from my planner / thicknesser. Other customers were complaining about problems fitting the extractor bags, yes it is a bit fiddly, what I used was 5 pieces of blue tack to stick the bag to the tin work just above the rubber seal, then clipped on the securing band, then peeled off the tack to keep for the next usage. Works a treat!

Good, but.The product itself is excellent, but Axminster made a complete cods of the delivery, no contact from them, I had to e-mail to find out why it had not been delivered during the last three working days, I was told a convertor plug from European to English was not available for the unit and would be in within the next seven days, I informed Axminster that the conversion plug was not a problem for me and to deliver the unit, again it did not arrive and again I was told the conversion lead was not available, I again informed them it was not a problem and to deliver immediately, I was now fed up with all this and decided to speak to a human on the other end of the phone, she could not have been more apologetic, this went a long way to easing the pain of the last ten days, eventually it all arrived and they had included a 2M x 100mm hose free of charge, so in the end Axminster made good even with the bad delivery on this item, I must emphasise that this farce is very unusual for Axminster and their delivery is normally second to nobody.
