Ok, but needs messing with to work right
This thing looks goid in the photos, and i bought one to go with my TS200. However...
1. The guide wheels are not a perfect fit to the grooves in the aluminium bed. So you have some wobble to the sled. There is no adjustment on the wheels to allow you to correct this, so i had to drill out the wheel mounting holes to a larger size so i could move the wheels to fit into the groove correctly. Took me about 3hrs to get it right.
2. Forget the specied cutting size. The only way you can achieve this is to have the aluminium bed pulled as far forward as possible. The way the aluminium bed mounts to the two suppurt arms leaves a lot to be desired. This is awkward to get the unit setup correcty to the table saw blade. Once setup it worked great. BUT......if you want to be able to cut 500-600 sheets AND use the slide to mitre, you have to loosen the aluminium bed and move it backwards. As soon as you do this, your nice aligment has disappeared and you have to align it all over again, as there is just too much play in the mounting .
3. Once you do have it setup right, it does work. But i can assure you, it will not be a case of, out of the box, install and away you go. Took me 3 days of messing, and building a modified bracket to mount the aluminium bed (so could slide the bed back and forth without losing alignment) before it was even usable.
I cant blame axminster completely, this appears to be a generic sliding table, Charnwood use thd same one it seems on their saw which they show in their video (which they convieniently miss out the hassle of moving the alumiium bed) , however i think axminster should remove this item from sale until it is actually made properly and you can install and use it without a huge amount of hassle. I certainly would not purchase again knowing what i know now, would have been cheaper snd less hassle to have built my own.
