Description

In Detail

A strong telescopic steel pole with a central spring loaded metal ratchet mechanism. At each end, a rubber foot is attached on a threaded rod. The pole extends from 1,600mm to 2,900mm. In use open until the pads make contact, then rotate the pole using the central rubber grip. This rotation causes the threaded rod to unwind and tighten against the floor and ceiling holding the pole firmly in position. The maximum loads are: vertical 60kg, and at 45° no more than 20kg. Use for holding up plaster board prior to fixing onto a ceiling, the poles are also very useful when used in conjunction with a dust sheet to screen off an area whilst decorating or carrying out renovations.
