Worth buying

It doesn't look much but you can quickly adapt it as it's made from cast iron. Make yourself some sliding nuts for the grooves - I used a piece of 1/2" bar drilled and tapped M6x1 with a 7mm long 7.95mm diameter sleeve section and a 3mm long flange. I then turned fine grooves at 5mm diameter increments to aid alignment. Finally I drilled and tapped 2 M6 holes in each web, one at 35mm diameter and one at 55mm. Cut clamps to fit from offcuts of flat bar. It is now a very versatile little holder.
It is also worth making thumbscrews (m4x0.7) for the spindle cover (to access the spindle lock) to replace the fiddly little screws that drop where you can't find them!
