In Detail

Our 11 piece set comprises an 85mm quick release bit holder with a universal shank (compatible with all makes of tool) and 10 sand blast finished colour coded bits in a steel case. All bits are fitted with a double groove which makes them specially designed to work with any chuck including quick change systems such as Festool’s Centrotec system.

Drive screws with better accuracy as the geometry of the tip is designed to form an exact fit with the screw head to prevent the screws being stripped. Each bit is sand blasted to give you better grip and is made from S2 grade steel which makes them more resistant to wear.

Could be better!

pros:
Good clear marking colour showing type of head.
Good heads to each bit i.e. strong as any other quality trade driver bit I've used before.
A little extra length than most bits
Cons:
Although case they come in is strong, it is also way too heavy! It would be nice to have a tough plastic case thats lightweight enough to carry to jobs that fits in a systainer box. Had to throw its case.
In practical terms they are not long enough. I would like to see 100mm or 125mm length bits.
They do need wd40 every now and then. So a coated set would be better.
It would be good to see clearly some way of identifying between which size pozi or torxs head your grabbing

I'll have to bite the bullet and spend a little more on 2x festool long reach (100mm). It would be great to see Axminster make a proper long reach set for Festool Centrotec for driver heads and also for Masonry bits when you need to fix in old houses with rubbish walls with long screws over 100mm.

All the bitz I need

Nice little box where it's easy to get to the quick change bits and they're a nice length too.
As the previous reviewer, some of the bits show corrosion on the shank which is a shame, but nothing that can't be cured with sandpaper and some camelia oil. Pity it needs doing though.
