In Detail

The Axminster Trade Parallel Jaw Clamp will find favour in situations where heavy-duty clamps are too weighty and cumbersome. The clamps exert sufficient force holding your work firmly whilst glue cures. The large surface area of the jaws spreads the pressure evenly. A polyamide, glue resistant casing surrounds the jaws. The jaw faces remain parallel across the full width of the clamping area. The heads are reversible so the clamp can also act as a spreader. These are excellent, convenient cramps for light to medium duty applications.

Lifetime guarantee.

Very good for the price.

I bought 4 of these, 2 of each size, as a more cost effective alternative to other brands of clamps, and I have to say I wouldn't look back. They've been tried and tested on a few projects now and I haven't found any reason to doubt them, the only downside (if I dare call it that) is the clamps need two hands to work the mechanism but honestly its not a problem if you use them appropriately. I intend to add more of these clamps to my kit real soon.

Stand straight

These clamps represent excellent value and are very high quality. The bar is machined with very fine microgrooves which allow you to position the moving head anywhere along the bar. As a nice touch the bar endstop is level with the flat end of both jaws and allows the bar clamp to sit level on the bench, The top end of the fixed head is exactly at 90deg to the bar which means that the clamp can be used in a vertical position. All round these are top quality, at a reasonable price, and the reliable almost always next day delivery makes these a winner all round.
