A thoroughly modern design of mobile dust extractor with a cartridge filter included as standard. The excellent performance comes from careful matching of the motor, impeller and housing, resulting in a quietly efficient machine able to extract chips and medium sized dust from almost all Trade specification machinery. An alloy impeller is fitted to reduce the risk of sparks and the extra large cartridge filter has a rating of 1 micron @ 100% capture rate. A large capacity plastic waste sack and quick release straps are included. A comfortable tubular handle, steel rear wheels and front castor wheels are provided for easy mobility. The cartridge filter increases the potential use of this machine to include sanders as well as the normal range of saws, planers etc. The filter is easy to keep clean with the top mounted crank handle, the extra surface area means that the overall airflow is not reduced. quite impressedmost of my workshop (semi pro) is axminster trade and most of it is good for the price. i had to upgrade my extractor from a HPLV vacuum type to a more suitable HVLP type to cope with my 12 inch P/T and panel saw, i was skeptical at first as i weren't expecting very much for some reason. i rigged up a 100mm flexi hose and threw some shavings and dust and general workshop crap on the floor, the hose was nearly 5m long and all convoluted, i had convinced my self that it would not cope with the shavings, with in seconds it had all gone and was in a bag under the filter, spinning frantically, some other bits n bobs that were on the floor also got sucked up. that was just one 100mm hose over a 5m run. my old vac extractor could not cope with the waste the P/T made and spat out shavings everywhere, this sucked it all up and all the waste the other one left behind. it is my intention to run 150mm ducting and a stand alone cyclone, i wall mounted the extractor on the wall above the cyclone and ditched the trolley. i am now expecting good things from this when the system is fully up and running.
