Both material support rollers, feature flip-up stops for repeat cutting to length. The quick release legs make setting-up fast and taking down easy. The legs are telescopic to allow height adjustment or to be set properly on uneven ground on site. Very Good!

Can never usually bring myself to buy an accessory that is the same price as a saw/machine. Amazed when I saw the price of this one. It's absolutely perfect for what I do as I spend about 50/50 in my workshop/site. It's robust enough for workshop use and portable enough for site use. I've had it for about a year now and it works great. Much better than the old milk crate.

Cheap but maybe not the best

I bought this product in order to mount a large mitre saw which was way to heavy to carry. The stand itself works basically as required, it was relatively simple to construct, and mount the saw on. I think it is reasonably well built for what it is meant to do. Adjustment is reasonable on leg height. Have had some minor issues, the gripping mechanism which holds the tool mount to the wheeled frame allows the mount to slowly slide towards the wheels when being moved due to vibration which makes it difficult to move back (easily sorted with a small piece of wood to act as a stop). The wheels are not far apart, which is good to save storage space but I have had this topple over once when moving over a rough and slightly sloping driveway. The roller extensions are a great help, but are a bit sloppy and require a bit more adjustment when used, I have often wondered whether the longer extension version would have been better particularly when dealing with ~5m lengths. Folding the legs up and down with a heavy tool mounted isn't very easy and does require some back strength. I chose this over the manufacturers equivalent because it was more compact, easy to use and was cheaper, so I wasn't expecting perfection.

Very poor

Very disappointed with this, I have used Axminster for many years but it seems apparent that anything with there own name on it is obviously cheaply made and not built to last, this price isn't actually great value considering you could get a dewalt or similar for not much more! The first miter stand they sent me was scratched all over the frame work, badly packed and had big dents in the top frame, they replaced quickly which was comendiable. However I've used the replacement Stand only a few times and have noticed that thumb bolts to stop the rollers and arms extending have already worn down, bolts that cross thread this easy are simply down to very poor parts! Again very disappointed, not that cheap, I'd recommend paying a bit more for something else! In a word junkyard scrap!!

Excellent Quality.

When I saw this product I thought it was just a cheap basic stand, when it arrived it was partially built, I just had to add on a few small parts like the work supports, wheels and handle, after a few minutes of finishing touches I had a nice sized, robustly built and very adequate saw stand that would be suitable for any DIY'er or tradesman for everyday use. It is well made with quality components & built to last, with adjustable legs, work supports & saw mounts there is very little not to like about it, the deal clincher for me was the foldaway design allowing me to store it away neatly in my small workshop, the decently sized wheels meant I could wheel it around easily to where ever I wanted to set it up & work. Overall, worth the money spent.
