Ideal

Just under half the price of the others lead to questions while selecting a mobile base however, on purchase for my TS200 table saw I was pleased with the results. Listen to the reviews regarding bolts. Head sheared off whilst tightening. I immediately invested in quality bolts costing a further £8 but easier to do this from the start. Clearances was an issue as I move my saw outside my garage for sheet work but on flat surfaces it glides smoothly, 4 castors would have been ideal and I might invest in replacements later . Recommended for the price, happy customer.

Works well But

I had this unit for a couple of years (supports my planer) and I am just about to buy another for my band saw. I must say that I have had no issues with either wheels or bolts BUT the design of the 'break lever' has caused me to skin my ankle on more than one occasion

Good but not perfect ...

Bought 2 sets to get the fixings to constuct as a single mobile base with 4 castoring corners . Works great but a pain to constuct , also agree the bolts supplied are cheap and not long enough for the corner overlaps . My base dimensions have finished at 690x870mm and I've used 2 extra lengths from the second set to achieve an all round secure corner to corner fix . Overall would buy again & recommend the 4 castoring corners option .

Great, but...

It does everything you should expect. But the bolts are very poor quality. Perhaps Axminster should supply an extra set by standard. Used it three times before one of the wheels broke of.

A good investment.

Brought the mobile base to move my planer around the workshop when not in use, its made of good strong steel and has plenty of size options within the one piece of kit. There is only on issue the connecting bolts are of extremely poor quality, I've replaced all mine with H/T 6mm bolts the base is now safe to use without the bolt heads snapping.
