In Detail

Rarely have we found a better design than the Bahco 9574 sliding bevel. The stock is anodised aluminium with orange ABS inserts, lightweight, hard wearing and easily spotted in the tool box. The blade is stainless steel. A wing nut at the base of the stock operates the locking mechanism. This simplifies the setting of the bevel and leaves the stock free of knobs, screws and any other protuberances.

Not sure what the previous comments are on about mine is brilliant easy to set and adjust and locks very tight much better than the old one I had.

Aluminium body provides no clamping force against the stainless steel blade. Not a good tool at all. Buy the Shinwa one instead.

Nice Bevel

On reading the previous review about it not locking up I was concerned so checked it out at a local shop and found the bevel is available in two sizes, the larger one did indeed not lock up very well but the small one was fine so I bought one and am well pleased with my purchase.

Not impressed

Well machined and sturdy. That said doesn't clamp up tight enough at all. I want and expect a sliding bevel that tightens completely this one I can move. Not chuffed
