4Ah battery does the trickA quick follow up review to my last. This is still an excellent tool a year on. The 4Ah battery not only increases the time between charges it also seems to increase the power of the vacuum. The downside is it changes the centre of gravity of the tool and it now falls over more often than with the lighter battery in place. It would be really useful if Axminster stocked replacement filters for this machine... hint hint...

You need one of these...This little cordless vacuum is so useful at keeping woodworking dust and shavings to a minimum. The key point is that, as a small cordless tool, it is so easy to clean up regularly that there's no excuse not to. I don't have to walk over to disconnect my dust extractor or uncouple my shop vac and wheel it around dodging obstacles. Instead I keep this extremely light, handheld vacuum on my bench; it's right at hand and has a small but useful capacity for dust. It's quick and easy to empty straight into the bin, no bag. It uses the same 10.8v battery as several of my other tools. The only down side is it drains my 1.5ah batteries fairly quickly so I will probably invest in a 4ah one.
