High suction M class wet and dry extractor suitable for extracting softwood and hardwood dusts like beech, oak and ash, as well as dust from paint, ceramic and plastic, and concrete containing quartz dusts. The powerful suction turbine (max 254 millibar) is combined with automatic filter cleaning system (AFC) that ensures consistently high suction power with the filter cleaned every 15 seconds, this also greatly prolongs filter life. The automatic start system allows for a power tool to be connected to the extractor so that as soon as the tool is started the extractor comes on and will continue for a short time after the tool is stopped to allow for efficient extraction. The robust transport wheels are non-marking and the front ones are lockable. L-Boxx cases can be integrated into the top of the machine for storage and transport.
M class refers to the whole machine not just the filter and is suitable for dusts with MAC values >0.1mg/m³. HSE recommends the use of M Class machines for power tool extraction and workshop cleaning.
Supplied with 5M (35mm) anti-static hose, floor cleaning kit with 3 metal tubes and floor nozzle, crevice tool, elbow, anti-static bend and M class PES filter and disposable filter bag.

Do not buy this machine if you have dogs or neighboursI returned my GAS 35M after one day. I do not doubt its build quality or suction power. If you value your ear drums and sanity in the peaceful confines of your workshop, steer well clear of this machine. The auto filter clean function delivers a volley of mini sonic booms EVERY 15 SECONDS. My two working dogs ran scared. My neighbours probably thought there was a prolonged gun battle going on. It can be turned off. It has to be turned off manually every time the machine is powered up if you don't want to be subjected to this assault. This completely negated the reason for me having a machine that would turn on automatically if I was using a tool at the other end of the workshop. In my humble opinion this is possibly the craziest, ill thought-out and user unfriendly feature of any machine ever designed in the history of history. If you have dogs and neighbours and value your sanity steer clear! Caveat emptor.

Could do BetterHave to agree with other comments re thumping noise, tool storage and lack of supplied bags.

Doing the job so far... but noisilyLike the other reviewer, I find the filter cleaning 'thumping' quite an annoyance. I can only liken the noise to an angry builder trying to thump his way out of the hoover itself. The off button for this feature should be factory set to off, then pressed to turn on if your extracting high dust jobs, for example if your using to extract of a power tool. The hose and body seems a good quality and feels v v sturdy. The tool bracket at the back is poorly designed, not allowing for all three sections of the chrome poles to be housed. The elastic hose straps on the side are extremely useful in keeping the 5m hose in check. The flat top doubles as a base for other compatible cases to be clipped onto, this is a handy feature. Oh and lastly, the Hoover DOES NOT come with paper bags, these need buying along with the hoover, a very poor show considering the purchase price.

BOSCH GAS 35 M AFC+ WET & DRY EXTRACTOR VoltageAdequate machine ,quite powerful suction. What I wasn't aware of is the very noisy thumping noise every 15 seconds. Working outside is not to bad but inside it is just way to loud. Axminster explained that this is the filter cleaning function that can be turned off.
