The GCM 10 S will cut a massive 87 x 305mm at its maximum, sufficient for a great many joinery, carpentry, framing and roofing tasks.
Dual slide bars, running in linear bearings and fitted with protective seals, add rigidity and maintain accuracy. A depth stop enables rebates, trenches and dados to be cut with a maximum blade height above the table of 45mm. The mitring facility, with its easy-to-read scale and nine pre-set angles, allows cuts up to 52° on the left and 62° to the right whilst he head tilts up to 45° to the left for bevel and compound cuts. There are specific preset angles for cove cutting on both the mitre and bevel facility. On the left a table and fence extension slide out to give extra support to work pieces when cutting on this side of the machine. Six available positions for the material clamp ensure safe working at all times. Supplied with a tungsten tipped 60T negative rake blade and service tools.

A quality tool for a fair priceI bought this tool to replace a similar but ageing and cheaper tool of a different make. I expected a similar performance but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and accuracy of the Bosch. It just feels solid and once set up does exactly what it is designed to do without fuss. One disappointing niggle - the dust extraction is rather poor, I have attached a vacuum hose but still most of the dust ends up on the workshop floor, hence the 4 stars for quality.

Excellent piece of kitBought this saw with doubts still in my mind but was soon found unnecessary as it is quality. The cutting is precise and clean with no jolt on the initial trigger. Double bevel and angles all operated from the front so no need for reaching round the back of the saw. Instrumentation is clear and precise, the only drawback is it's weight which does take a bit of getting used to and certainly wouldn't want to be lugging this saw around site. Overall this is great value for money and with the bosch 3 year warranty it's a good piece of mind

Beware of power requirements! This is a great saw. Cuts really accurately and fast. Is very sturdy (no movement when extended). Only problem I've had (and others on line by looking at reviews on other sites) is that the saw can nuisance trip 16A MCB's on starting (it's quite aggresive). Make sure that you have at least 20A supply to the socket outlet you intend to use for this saw - Other than that, it's great.
