The Bosch Professional GCM 10 SD double-bevel sliding mitre saw is a powerful tool with impressive capacities. The 85mm depth of the cut makes it capable of taking on large timber and the sliding action gives a wide 305mm cutting capacity. This saw allows you to cut accurate mitres, bevels and compound angles on both sides. Conveniently, placed both mitre and bevel adjustments are available at the front of the saw. Indexing at common angles ensures you can set-up with speed and accuracy. A quick-action clamp secures the workpiece and pull out extensions on both sides of the table offer extra support for longer workpieces.
The SoftGrip operating handle locks in any one of four positions for convenience and comfort. A dust bag keeps your working area clean and free from sawdust. Two carrying handles make the saw is easier to move around a site or transport

Very accurate saw out of the boxI bought this saw to replace my Evolution 10 inch mitre saw. This saw was almost 3 times the price of the Evolution so I was a bit scepticle, but not for long. The quality really does shine through. I not used to cutting 2 45 degree cuts and them making 90.

good sawGreat mitre saw, i was bit surprised when it arrived a lot bigger than i expected. i bought mine for DIY and various projects mine is fastened to my bench in my shop i think the saw would be a bit too heavy for site work as its very heavy, i find the hold down clamp a bit awkward to use, i find the saw is very accurate eveb for small angles on picture frames etc,i find if the handle isnt held down when beginning cuts it tends to kick back a bit, the adjustable handle is a good feature , very comfortable , the mitre adjustment is simple and accurate, top quality Bosch as usual if you want a good heavy duty accurate Mitre saw id go for this one no worries

BoschGCMSDI'm a furniture fitter by trade (Kitchens, bedrooms and studies)and have used many different makes of mitre saws over my 45 years in the trade, this Bosch saw I have to say is the best. Yes it is heavy but its rigid and stable , nothing flimsy like some makes. I already have the legstand as i've borrowed this saw from a mate. This is a real bargin at this price and living offshore I got the VAT off so even better! Thanks Axminster

very good! This is a very good saw. I bought it for general purpose domestic stuff and also fine furniture making. The instruction manual is really poor but I figured it all out in the end and this was my first time on a mitre saw so hey no problems in the end. It is very accurate and when I checked the calibration when it arrived everything was setup square. If not you can adjust Bosch blade is good as well. No laser and really you don’t actually need one as you can aim it by bringing down the blade first. All the controls are a dream to use. I have screwed it to an IKEA table (£40) which I had spare it is great. The stops which come out are really good and the 45-0-45 action is really good and worthwhile. All good, well done Bosch again! TNT came and I missed then but they came back on the same day, thanks to all and Axminster!

Bosch GCM 10SD (with Bosch Legstand)I think I compared just about every SCMS on the market before eventually biting the bullet and buying the GCM10SD. Have to admit some reviews had been a bit off-putting especially re. weight and accuracy. There's no mistaking, it is heavy and BIG. However, with a little trial and error you find the best way to carry it. Once set up on the legstand it's a joy to use - and I leave the legstand brackets attached all the time so it's a simple matter to just drop it back onto the stand and lock in place.
