This saw is one of the newest members of the Bosch 10.8V family and a great addition to your tool kit. Perfect for cutting laminate flooring and similar, this compact circular saw gives a powerful cut in wood up to maximum depth of 26.5mm at 90° and 17mm at 45°. The base is adjustable for depth and has an angle scale. The thin kerf TCT blade draws less power from the machine with less waste than a thicker kerf blade to ensure quick progress through the material.
Supplied as a body only so that you can utilise batteries from the other tools in the family. Bosch Li-Ion battery technology is premium quality for the best possible battery life and runtime; tool and battery talk to each other as fitted with electronic cell protection (ECP).

great tool for kitchen fitting etcMine is the full kit in a L-Boxx with two 2Ah batteries, guide rail adaptor and charger. I had mine two and a half years and was pleasantly surprised, it became my go tool for 18mm kitchen clad panels etc. used with my FSN guide rail to make flawless cuts. I had it replaced by bosch under its 3year warranty as the bearing or something had play in it making the cut quality poor, the new replacement Ive had for about 5 months now and no problems but bosch only gave me the what was left of my 3 year warranty that has now nearly run out in a few weeks which was disappointing but still a great tool and very quiet as well.

Good for what it isIf you already have Bosch 10.8 volt tools this is a handy addition. The plus points are that it is surprisingly fast at sawing up to one inch depth and is of course portable. The downside is that the blade gives quite a rough cut ( no other blade options that I know of) and it's difficult to get straight cuts, though there is an attachment to use with the Bosch guide rails. So for roughing out work on a remote site or cutting in difficult locations where a hand saw has no room to work it is ideal, but it's not a replacement for a larger main powered saw.
