A nice machineI purchased this bench saw recently. It cuts true strait out of the box. It is not an induction motor but is a little bit less noisy than my older machine. The biggest complaint is the miter guide wobbles in the groove and the nob on it needs to be removed if your not using the sliding table as it tends to rattle and wind itself down onto the cutting table hence jamming.

tablesaw gtx10scBought as a christmas treat for myself, cut no more that enough wood, non heavy duty, to build a cross cut sled, and a table to sit it on when it let go. Dry 2x3s c16 grade timber and 3/4 inch ply was all I used when in the middle of a cut the blade just stopped, with the motor still running. This on a five hundred pound table saw? doesn't inspire confidence. It goes back tomorrow to Bosch leaving me with a table for a saw I don't have and a crosscut sled with no saw to use it on, guess I'll see how good the warranty is

really goodall fast and super professional, only one note: in the box was missing a plug adaptator for european use (I m writing from Italy), not a big problem but a notice on the website should not was a mistake. thanks axminster

Not as good as I thought it would be.The first thing I'd recommend to people who buy this machine is to change the blade from a 24 to at least a 40 tooth blade. The 24T leaves very bad saw blade marks when ripping stock. The mitre gauge is not good, as other reviewers have said to much slop, I defy anyone to try and get a 90 deg cut across the stock using it. I'm looking for a replacement with adjustable runner to take up the slop but not having much luck as the slots in the table are not standard size being only 16mm/ 5/8" wide whereas the standard size is 19mm/ 3/4" wide. Apart from the mitre gauge problems the saw is very good, the rip fence is excellent, when I ripped a piece of stock with my 80T blade it was the same width all the way along its length, brilliant. It can be stored on its side taking up much less room than most table saw wich means the wife can get her car in the garage over winter, more browny points for me, me thinks.
