Buy in person! tips to look for to get a good one and the rest can be tweaked.I went to a few stores to look for a good example. A high or warped sliding table is a deal breaker. A common complaint is a wobble left to right in the sliding mitre table. Easy fix on youtube, I took out the sliders and sprayed the edges with polyeurethane clear coat and it is snug and perfect. Hunt for one that is level or a half-mm high perhaps. Aligning blade to mitre slots is easy just loosen the front motor mounts and adjust and tighten. The fence is almost perfect and can be tweaked to perfection. Mine saw is darn near perfect now in every way. Dust extraction is kind of a mess as the shroud inside lets half the dust fall within the housing rather then out through the port. I doubt that other saws in this category are better in that way. The saw looks and feels like a quality precision tool. The plastic base doesnt feel cheap. It's quiet. The vacuum I use for dust extraction is louder than the saw. soft start is great. Get one, but be prepared to tweak it, and find a good unit to begin with.

Nice machineI bought this saw to replace a worn out diy saw and I have to say that it is a very good machine and can be used straight from the box. However now that I am starting to make toys and segmented turning again a couple of faults have shown up namely the riving knife does not allow slot cutting as the knife in it's lowest position is still higher than the blade by a couple of mil and I had to file the top of the knife which has fixed this problem and the other fault is the position of the riving knife guard clamp, the tightening handle should be on the other side to prevent the fence hitting it when cutting narrow stock, but this is great machine which I am sure I will enjoy using and a three year warranty as well.

A nice machineI purchased this bench saw recently. It cuts true strait out of the box. It is not an induction motor but is a little bit less noisy than my older machine. The biggest complaint is the miter guide wobbles in the groove and the nob on it needs to be removed if your not using the sliding table as it tends to rattle and wind itself down onto the cutting table hence jamming.
