Nice machine

I bought this saw to replace a worn out diy saw and I have to say that it is a very good machine and can be used straight from the box. However now that I am starting to make toys and segmented turning again a couple of faults have shown up namely the riving knife does not allow slot cutting as the knife in it's lowest position is still higher than the blade by a couple of mil and I had to file the top of the knife which has fixed this problem and the other fault is the position of the riving knife guard clamp, the tightening handle should be on the other side to prevent the fence hitting it when cutting narrow stock, but this is great machine which I am sure I will enjoy using and a three year warranty as well.

Good tool which copes well with large sections of hardwood

Overall an excellent tool.

The bad.
The mitre guide slot is marginally narrower than normal, I have not had the slop problem reported by others with the mitre guide but I am annoyed that I need to get a bar machined to use on other better quality mitre guides.
Dust extraction requires requires a splitter that is not provided. Even with the cheap Jet and Axminster table saws these are included.

The good
The blade it comes with is competent for softwood if the finish does not need to be great. However an Axcaliber Premium 40 tooth blade works very well with the saw. I have used this to cross cut and rip oak up to 75 mm and it copes well leaving a very good finish, the saw has enough power to deal with a reasonable feed rate and most of the dust does get caught by the extraction.
The fence is very solid and accurate despite the overall (relative) light weight of the saw.
The cut capacity is very generous with the sliding extension being surprisingly solid.
The on board nooks and crannies for the fence, guide and blade guard do actually work and keep the parts in place when using the wheeled stand.
The sliding table does work though it is of limited size and therefore application.
One of the best features is on detaching the blade guard the riving knife can drop so the top is below the top of the blade, with an auxiliary blade guard mounted this means the saw can be used for cutting slots and groves, which is really going to help me with bat box construction.
The motor is not that loud and when the saw is used the above mentioned blade it runs without making too much noise overall.
All in all an excellent tool that were it to come with an extraction hose splitter and standard T slot would be close to perfect.

A nice machine

I purchased this bench saw recently. It cuts true strait out of the box. It is not an induction motor but is a little bit less noisy than my older machine. The biggest complaint is the miter guide wobbles in the groove and the nob on it needs to be removed if your not using the sliding table as it tends to rattle and wind itself down onto the cutting table hence jamming.
Apart from the above it works great and has done everything I have asked of it.

tablesaw gtx10sc

Bought as a christmas treat for myself, cut no more that enough wood, non heavy duty, to build a cross cut sled, and a table to sit it on when it let go. Dry 2x3s c16 grade timber and 3/4 inch ply was all I used when in the middle of a cut the blade just stopped, with the motor still running. This on a five hundred pound table saw? doesn't inspire confidence. It goes back tomorrow to Bosch leaving me with a table for a saw I don't have and a crosscut sled with no saw to use it on, guess I'll see how good the warranty is

Great saw

I bought this saw for an amateur use and it fulfills all expectations.

The parallel guide is stable and the cutting width is sufficient for almost all jobs.

It is a heavy machine but with the aid of the folding stand (GTA 60W) the transport and storage is simple.

The built-in saw blade is not the best (24T) but with an appropriate saw blade the cut is precise and clean.

The miter guide is not good at all and unfortunately the guides are not standard size.

Anyway, it's a quality saw that I'm sure will use for a long time.
