In Detail

The Perfo panels are a great way of utilising wall space for storage. They are fully flanged and reinforced to aid rigidity and multiple panels can be used side by side or end to end due to all dimensions being based around the hole pitch. All panels are 457mm wide/deep and are available in various widths/lengths. These are supplied as empty panels; hook kits are available separately. Made in UK.

Good overall but some design and quality issues

Functionally this does mostly what it supposed to. The hook system gives flexibility and is reasonably well thought out but:
- The mounting holes are an odd size and, as it did not come with any fixings, it was difficult to find a screw of the right size. A number 6 is a tad small and I was worried that the head would pull through the hole but a number 8 was too big to fit through the hole in the front. In the end I had to go with 6s but used plenty of them and was careful not to overtighten them.
- The spanner holder needs re-thinking. I bought two of these but half my spanners just fall out as the slots are too wide. What it needs is some form of locking mechanism.
- Mine arrived damaged in several places. Fortunately, I was able to straighten most of the dents out. I was tempted to think that this was due to shipping damage but, the worst damage of all was beneath an unblemished corner protector. This damage obviously occurred in the factory and it should not have left in the condition it did.
