Description

In Detail

Made with strong handles and a special foam blade that although flexible keeps its shape in work. These foam brushes can be used with spirit and oil based stains as well as many paints and lacquers. Re-usable several times, these are the disposable foam brushes that last, they give a smooth even application with all the advantages of a brush without bristles. Once used to apply varnish, ordinary brushes will become a thing of the past.

Great for the application of wax oil.

I've been using these foam brushes for applying Osmo Polyx-oil with fantastic results on our newly installed Oak stairs. (Handrail, Newel Posts and Spindles) and all the trim.
I've even wash them out with white sprite and reused them 6 times so far still with great results,
I think the secret is not to be heavy handed which is easy to be.
One great result is you don't get any brush marks!!!
So I'm going to continue to use these in place of a ordinary for varnish etc.

not trade quality

Described on the packaging as trade quality but they fall a long way short of this. I had a pack of two brushes that very quickly disintegrated whilst applying wax oil to prepared floor. Ok for small hobby jobs not up to anything more in my opinion

good

Ive used these foam brushes a lot to put a lacquer finish on my turnninigs with great results, Being made of foam, you can avoid the brush marks that you get with a standard brush. These are a disposable brush and i find that if i try and clean them of try to use one over a couple of days they tend to fall apart eventually, still very good though just throw them away after use
