In Detail

Tools do not get any simpler than this one. A high quality tungsten steel corner chisel is sharpened in-cannel fashion and held into a spring-loaded steel bodied jig. Absolutely perfect for knocking the rounded corners out of a routed hinge recess; simply place the chisel into the rounded corner, hit once with a hammer or mallet and then pare out the waste for a perfect cut every time!

Sigh...not again.

Second time around as Axminster took my first review down......I bought it because fitting hinges is something I've never consistently done to my satisfaction. Frankly this didn't make things any simpler, if anything the opposite. If you can hold a chisel and take your time it's redundant. However if you need more bits and bobs for your toolbox jump right in.

Great little tool

It really does make a neat job of tidying up routed corners. Easy to use. It may not be top quality, but what a bargain at this price!
