easy turning.

Very easy pens to make, I use wood or acrylic, great value brought in 10s, usual impeccable Axminster service.

Too Long?

Made my first click pen to match the click pencil for an order. Found that the refill is too long for the pen and extends beyond the tip. Additionally the 'matching' pen and pencil don't match. Band is wider on the pencil and the tip has an additional band on it. Disappointed as the customer wanted a matching set. No searching for an alternative kit.

thumb is dropping off

very nice pen in gunmetal.
theres a chrome sleeve in the kit that fits over the click mechanism that dictates the height of the click button.
i found that if you leave it the standard length the pen fails to click now and then but if you shorten it slightly it allows a good solid click action.
ive clicked it that much now my thumb is dropping off.
pen is ok and i have another thumb. sold it for £25 , the pen not the thumb.
happy clicking.

Very Poor Quality

I have had similar experiences as the previous reviewer. Its time Axminster started to get some click mechanisms from manufacturers such as Parker, which is a tried and trusted unit. Until Axminster can guarantee their click pens I will stick to twist pens, that way I know my customers will be happy with their purchase.. Come on Axminster, you are a supplier of high quality products, but you are letting yourselves down with all your click pens.

I have used these pens for the last two or three years and initially I would have definitely given it top scores and my main seller, however I have received several comments recently that revolve around the click mechanism. It fails to operate after a time and I have had the same happen to me recently with a couple of new assemblies. Of course I have replaced the defective items, when retuned to me and it is a fault only with the clicker. If you unscrew the top and twist the ink refill then screw up again it will work for a while before the fault returns.

That's something however I can't accept now I know. I don't think it's acceptable for me to sell them now. So I have decided to only use the twist pens from now on as my main pen since these maintain the high quality of the kits.
