Too short!

I don't know what size of note this is supposed to hold but it doesn't fit UK money - a fiver will just fit if you squeeze it up really tight but nothing else. If you can get a longer tube it's magic - you can use two but only if you're very confident about your glue.

nice looking product but the end unscrews easily and drops off.

the end unscrews far too easily and is now lost along with the money once wrapped inside it.

NIce easy kit for anyone

This is a nice easy starter kit, however if you are turning on a mandrel I would reccomend using the Bushing set Axminster Part No 310387, as the turning process is a lot simpler, as you only have to drill the 10mm hole and then push the tube into the wood and then mount between the bushes. As you get 4 bushes in the pack you should be able to turn 2 kits together, saving time particularly if you are making for craft fairs etc. If you have produced the keyrings the instructions are applicable for this kit BTW.

Couldn't be easier

Nothing is easier than using up short pen blanks or offcuts from other turning projects to make these secret compartment key rings. Some spectacular spalted or highly figured wood or burls make pieces which look to be much higher value than the cost of these kits. Simple to make and very quick. Excellent sellers.
