Faulty Mechanisms.

Bought two of these kits, one in gold the other in Chrome and both mechanisms failed which is disappointing but not an Axminster problem, this is clearly down to product manufacturing from their supplier. I managed to buy after market mechanisms for the pen kits and now they work a dream.

Very Poor

I bought five of these pens and they all failed. The mechanisms were complete rubbish. I'm surprised Axminster are still selling them.

Poor Quality

Three kits and the mechanism faulty on each one. I am quite experienced in making pens having done so for over ten years. I brought these kits for my grandkids to make under supervision and each failed. I know they are cheap and you get what you pay for but would expect to be able to have them working. Very disappointed with them, only good side is cheap enough to throw away. As a side note would be useful if Axminster carried spare parts for the pen kits.
