No better than a screwdriver.

I bought some Veritas Super-Hard Milled Scrapers. Burnishing one with a screw driver left some slight scoring on it (I didn't notice any raggedy effects from the scraper, but I suppose the hook wasn't too regular). So I bought this burnisher. Admittedly the scrapers are on the hard side, but being HSS the burnisher should be over HRC 60 -quite a bit harder than the HRC 48-52 of the scrapers. I've applied this burnisher about four times so far, and about an inch of it is now gouged and scored from the scraper. There was less damage on the bog standard screw driver. I think the screw driver was about 25% the price...
