The DeWALT DCS365 cordless mitre saw is extremely portable. This impressive mitre saw features DeWALT's XPS laser cutline, which projects a line and shadow onto your workpiece. This gives you an exact indication so you can perfectly line up the cut. Horizontal angle adjustment is quick and easy. The table features detents at 0°, 22.5°, 30° and 45° left or right. The maximum mitre angles are 60° on the right and 50° on the left. The bevel capacity is up to 48°. With a blade-speed of 3,750rpm, the saw’s performance is easily on a par with its mains powered cousins. Using either a 4.0Ah or a 5.0Ah DeWALT XR Li-ion battery gives you plenty of runtime. Supplied as machine only without batteries.

A cracker.Having recently bought the DeWalt 18v cordless finish nailer my previous prejudice against the 'yellow perils' has been blown away which, as a long time Festool user, has really surprised me. Thoroughly impressed at the practicality and the performance of several of the 18v tools I now own, and, when I needed a more portable and easier to move mitre saw this superb little Italian made saw was a no-brainier. It really is excellent and though it doesn't have a trenching ability, its performance has astounded me. Using a 5ah battery I have cut battens and posts all day ( about 150 cuts ) and the battery still shows one bar left..

Cordless heavenHad this saw on site for a week now, got fed up of lugging a heavy DW717 around. Cuts well with lots of power to handle 9x2 with ease using 4 amp hour batterys. Great for skirttings and architraves and so light and easy to move from room to room on busy office fit outs. Well recommended and much cheaper than Makita rival. Only downside is no depth of cut stop for rebates.
