Description

In Detail

Estwing hammers are forged from one piece of steel, stronger and safer with never the possibility of the head coming off. They are made from high quality tempered steel, fully polished and are available with either ultra comfortable laminated leather handles or blue nylon/vinyl deep cushion safety grips. The framing hammers have the straight, or rip, claw whilst the others have a standard curved claw.

It's just a hammer?

A hammer is just a hammer, right, a lump of metal on a stick.

Maybe so, but I tell you, these Estwing hammers are amazing. You wouldn't believe how one hammer can seem so much better than others. I had a Stanley antivibe hammer, which cost nearly as much as one of these, but just seemed to be dud. never had so many miss-hits and bent nails in my life. I used a colleague's Estwing and it just felt "right". So I bought one myself. I swear every time I use it I think "that's a bloody good tool". A joy to use.

I know they seem expensive but absolutely worth every penny.
