In Detail

It's always very handy to have a good magnifier in the workshop, for close inspection, such as checking progress of a blade's edge as sharpening proceeds etc. Supplied as a set of two, one 10x the other 12x giving a choice of magnification. They can either be held between the fingers or used as an eye loupe to leave hands free. Great for removing splinters.

Works fine

Puzzled by the other review - what did you expect? I have used this pair of loupes for the last 10 years without issue. Great for checking the honed edge on a plane blade or chisel, removing "invisible" splinters and close examination of anything tiny. Can't see how you can go wrong...especially given the very reasonable price.

Cheap, so cheap. Ho Hum.

They're very cheap, so they perform as expected. Pretty much hopeless.
I'd have happily paid more for something that woks reasonably. No jeweller's loupe in stock.
I _have_ just discovered that Axminster have a magnifying headset, so may well try that.
