Flat area frame with precision height adjustment and raising device for exact sanding of high-quality surfaces (e.g. on veneer workpieces). The variable belt speed for preliminary and fine sanding enabled by intelligent full-wave electronics ensures perfect results on all types of material up to a width of 75mm. The well balanced centre of gravity of the longitudinally mounted motor ensures non-tiring work. Strong motor pulling force for economic working. The speed and ease of belt tensioning and adjustment makes for significant time savings.

Excellent machine, well balanced, high quality ...not too heavy howeverI am a Festool Fan and now only buy Festool as I have tried the other makes. I have a large Elu (now DeWalt) belt sander and it works fine but it very heavy so I bought the Festool BS75E. I was immediately surprised by how powerful this smaller machine is and yet it is so well balanced and feels lighter. The belts are smaller than my Elu but in practise this is not an issue. Changing the belts is really much much easier as the Elu requires considerable force...the festool has a lever that provides real leverage and little force. The integral vacuum system works very well .
