This is the latest Festool CTL MIDI; it gives the same great performance as the previous model but has updated features. This L-Class extractor has a constant high suction, is lightweight in design and easy to transport with generous capacity. It is fitted with a larger storage space for the hose, heavier duty in design and has a T-LOC case locking point. Compact with a surprisingly large container volume for its size of 15 litres, the integrated filter is designed so that it uses 100% of the bag capacity. This extractor has strong suction that can be varied and is fitted with an electronic on/off switch; your power tool can be plugged into it so the extractor starts and stops automatically when needed. L-Class for dust with limits > 1mg/m³. Other features include anti-static function, built-in lockable castors, integral hose and cable storage. The top of the machine allows for the T-LOC Systainer® cases to be attached for easy transport. The extractor can also be used for wet application by changing the filter to the wet filter (an accessory) and removing the dust bag. Robust, reliable, safe and durable as ever.
Festool dust extractors are designed for dust-free sanding in combination with both electrical and pneumatic machines as well as hand-sanding blocks. Please ensure that any dust extractor is suitable for the type of dust being collected before ordering.
The extractor is supplied with filter bag, 3.5m anti-static suction hose with conical adaptor 27/32mm. Please note: 110V machines are not supplied with plug.

Very QuietIm a self employed painter with no employees witch I think makes a difference on the lack of abuse it would take. I've had the vac for about a year now. What sold me on the vac is how quiet it is. To be in a customers house everyday and using it several time throughout the day is a huge plus. There has been time where it would lose suction for whatever reason. The filter never gets dirty, the bag would only be half full an still loose suction. The hose has broken couple times on me in which I have to cut it back and reconnect it. I use it with my ets 150 sander and it works great. When sanding painted walls there is no dust.

Cracking bit of kit.My first Festool extractor, a Mini, is now 15 years old and hasn't missed a beat. It is a brilliant little machine and has shifted some dust over those years. It is still working exactly like it did on day 1 but I bought the CTL26 last month to use with my Kapex and Domino and, in a desire to continue spending my kids inheritence, bought the Midi to work as a stationary power and extraction unit for my hand held power tools with a home made hose and power cord arm over my MFT.

great extractorBought 110volt model to use on site with festy track saw. Sucks all the dust up for great clean working environment on site. Auto power take off on 110 volt model only rated at 500 watts though. Dust bag excellent and fills completely with dust. Great build quality.

Not sure if it will lastThis festool extractor works really well at collecting the dust with my festool saw and festool planer. But it feels really cheap to me the plastic flap for the plug socket I can only see that lasting 5 seconds and the hose feels cheap. Also where the hose and power cable compartment could do with being a tad bigger as it only just goes in. The cleaning kit is really flimsy And is not worth having in my opinion when that costs half of henrey Hoover if you brought it separate. however I brought this as extractor and it dose that job very well. Great service from Axminster

PerfectI bought this with my Festool plunge saw. It is lightweight, portable, compact and powerful. This little dust extractor is just superb. ALL the dust just disappears, seriously, you can use a circular saw in your living room. The time saving of not having to go outside to cut/plane/sand a bit of wood, then bring it back indoors, duzzitfit?no.backoutsideagain is amazing. Building a fitted wardrobe in an upstairs bedroom , I saved hours by being able to set up in the room.
