The new Festool OS 400 VECTURO has taken the concept of the multi-tool a stage further by allowing precision cut-outs along scribe marks using a unique positioning aid. When attached to the machine, the base together with its positioning stops will allow accurate plunge cutting away from an edge using the depth and angle guide. It also incorporates a useful tilt action to allow access into difficult or awkward areas of work. There is a choice of depth stops that can be used without the base for precise flush cuts or long straight cuts at a given depth. The base and depth stops unquestionably provide far greater cutting accuracy in many applications, but the VECTURO may also be used without these in the normal way as a freehand multi-tool. The VECTURO has a powerful 400W motor with variable electronic speed control together with a Festool plug-it mains cord. The innovative VECTURO base, together with its accessories, provides improved accuracy on all materials such as timber, non-ferrous metals and composites. A range of Festool cutting blades is available but, in addition, the machine will also accept the hexagonal fitting Fein SuperCut accessories and blades.
Supplied as SET version with the following accessories: Precision wood cut 35mm width blade, Universal bi-metal wood and plastic cutting plunge blade 42mm width, 100mm saw blade HCS for wood cutting. Positioning aid and depth stops. SYSTAINER T-LOC SYS 2 storage case with lid compartment.
|Oscillation Rate||11,000 - 18,500/min|

Wouldn't be without it!I absolutely love this tool. It has been so useful on so many tasks. Yes there are cheaper but it hasn't let me down or in my hands produced a messy job.

Brilliant but flawedI've been using this for a number of tasks and as a cutting multi-tool it's good. Supplied with only a miserly three blades which are top quality, but Fein blades are cheaper and they make the blades for Festool! The plunge guide is good BUT has no depth stop!
