The newest jigsaw in the Festool range is the CARVEX PS 420 with a new blade guide system and more powerful motor than the PS400 model. The blade guided in three ways with a new lower guide that can be adjusted to 'kiss' the blade. A powerful hammer guide contained within the body of the machine ensures accuracy. Combined with a choice of four pendulum stroke actions and speed selection you can be assured of a smooth, precise cutting action, designed to work hard in a range of materials with the right choice of blade. The powerful cutting stroke is driven from the Festool EC-TEC brushless motor, it is compact in design and one of the lightest on the market at only 1.9kg. An adjustable strobe light is also a great feature. Effective dust extraction draws dust away from the cutline via connection to a dust extractor from the outlet in the base. The Festool unique plug-it cable can be turned upwards in more confined spaces and is easily unplugged for tool change or storage. The body grip design on/off switching can be worked from either side of the body for dual use. Supplied with a standard removable base that can be replaced with a choice of either a tilting 0- 45° angled base or a base adaptor that allows you to connect guide rails or circular guide; a quick lock ensures no tools are required for base or blade changing.
Set version is supplied with accessory T-LOC Systainer containing 5 splinter guards, 3 base runners (dimpled, hard fibre and steel), StickFix felt for base, angle baseplate, circular cutting guide with tape measure, base adaptor that will accept the guide rail system and circular cutting guide.
