A truly universal sander from Festool, having several unique features and able to access areas other sanders just can't reach making it the perfect machine for many jobs. Able to take a range of 90mm diameter or Delta pad base which can be changed in seconds via the Festool FASTFIX system, compact in size and low in weight, it is so easy to handle and will give a perfect finish.

The two main secrets to this sander are the ROTEX action and JETSTREAM pad, ROTEX allows the machine to be either an aggressive or fine sander as well as a polisher. Just flick the switch and you can choose between a rotary / eccentric action for coarse sanding and polishing that will keep the surface temperature low or an eccentric action only for fine sanding. The JETSTREAM principle ensures the abrasive can work very efficiently and extends its life ensuring dust is drawn away from the sanding surface stopping accumulation. It in turn also reduces heat at the pad surface, another real bonus, as heat causes dust particles to clump together and block the abrasive. Polishing also benefits from a cooler pad.
