Designed to ensure the user is in full control. This 10.8V drill driver uses Festool 2.6Ah high capacity batteries and a very efficient motor to ensure effortless working with high performance as well as being well balanced and compact. You will find it suitable for a host of jobs. Protected for long service life with temperature control for the electronics and battery, and current limited to protect the battery and motor. The FastFix elbow allows you to get into very tight spaces; it simply clicks onto the drill in place of the chuck and you can insert a 1/4" fitting directly into it for the very tight areas - or you can add a chuck to it. The CENTROTEC chuck is used with Festool system accessories allowing you to change from drilling to driving screws etc. very quickly.

Quality, versatility and powerNow let's be clear £200+ for a 10.8v drill driver is a lot of money, it's twice the price of similar other branded kit. However...this is an awesome tool. The quickly interchangeable heads save fiddling around swapping drill bits for screw bits and the angle driver is a great bonus. This tool is so light my wife thought it was "a girl's drill"! The 2.6ah batteries are double the stamina of most other branded 10.8v drills and though I've not had it long battery life seems great considering the use I've put it to. The versatility of this drill means I now need only this and my corded SDS drill to tackle virtually any job I come across. Highly recommended if you can justify the cost by putting it to regular use.

ExcellentAfter 6 months, very happy with it. The angle attachment is great - though sometimes a little clunky when you adjust the angle. it is suitably very short for those tight spaces. All in all, an excellent drill.

SuperbI'm a self employed furniture maker and joiner and have been for the past 23 years. My last Festool battery screwdriver was a tdk 12 volt nimh 3 amp hr tool and it lasted me 12 years of daily use, it's only been retired as the battery's gave up. I bought this smaller tool as it was cheaper than buying new battery's for the TDK model. Whilst I think it is a crime against nature , and the human race , that a company as superb as Festool can't get their act together to supply reasonably priced reacement battery's , they are still the best second fix woodworking power tool manufacturer in the world.
