why?

I bought the Aximinster multi tool kit (AMT) -not the reason I bought it but it had a power carving head -you think if they make them they must work, have a use.......so curiosity kicks in but the gouges included are poor quality -so you think if only the gouges were better it would work but Flexcut gouges wont fit the collet - you can get a limited set of Flexcut gouges for power carvers - you only want to try one but you have to buy a whole set or the other, cheaper option - this universal adaptor which allows you to use your normal Flexcut gouges. looking at it you think what will that be like to use with the adaptor sticking out in front of the hand piece - at this point you should go with you gut instinct and stop looking at it - unfortunately I bought one - not only is it indeed ridiculous to use but it just doesn't work - lots of noise, vibration and little carving - WHY? - Why make this when without the noise and vibration you can do a cleaner, faster, quieter job with a hand held gouge - please save yourself the money and frustration
