Top quality - worth it for specific tasks

The 40 grit is superb at removing material. It does not clog at all. Invaluable when "shaping" although far too rough for traditional sanding.
The 180 on the other hand produces a wonderful mirror like finish on hardwoods.
All these belts are absolute top quality. The 2 "must buys" of the range in my opinion are these extremes. Nothing will shift material faster, and nothing will produce a better finish. 80 & 120 grit versions are ideal intermediates.
( in addition I use cheepo 80 grit belts for general purpose when the belt may hit paint, nails and other unwanted stuff ! )
