very nice

This tool arrived very quickly, next day after my online order. It is a brilliant little tool, light, sharp and sturdy, very handy for hard to reach places. And for places where any cutting needs to be done with care, as it is easy to control. Really like it.

Excellent implement

It is quite small and therefore easy to carry - as a walking guide, I got one to cut emerging bracken on small archaeological sites so as to keep them visible. Tool turned out to be so versatile I have bought one for the garden too, to quickly clear dead material from montbretia, grassy banks etc.

Good for up close and personal work

A lovely little tool. Different in operation from a conventional english sickle, this tool seems less suited to wide swings of the arm to slash down stands of grass and weeds. I'm finding it best suited to short strokes, using a pulling action, to get through weeds at their base whilst holding a clump.
