The San-Kaku hoe (san-kaku is Japanese for triangle) is narrow enough for tight spots and makes short work of the weeds between the vegetable rows. The hardened steel, spear shaped blade will dig furrows, break up soil, remove weeds and sever roots. It is handy for any kind of garden trenching and loosening soil. It’s a truly effective hoe and will soon become a real workhorse in the garden. The long-handled San-Kaku hoe (1,460mm overall, with a 190mm by 120mm head) lets you work comfortably whilst standing.
