This Jet cyclone extractor is highly efficient due to its directly mounted cartridge filter and the two stage airflow system separating the waste before the filter. This gives a higher airflow than single stage machines of comparable power. Even though it is quite compact it still has a large waste drum and is easily emptied due to its independent castors. The deep pleated cartridge filter will capture particles down to 1 micron and is fitted with a manual dual paddle cleaning system. The alloy bodied induction motor runs cool and the noise level is quite moderate, so not too intrusive in the workshop. You have a choice of two inlet sizes, so either one larger 153mm or twin 102mm to suit a wide range of machines. Well made, quiet and powerful, this extractor is a great choice for a small workshop.

Good product but let down by some penny pinching.JCDC 1.5 Dust collector arrived next day from Axminster, well packed, instructions typically lacking detail with plenty of potential to assemble incorrectly but got there in the end with a bit of common sense. Took around 2 hours to assemble with a bit of extra help for the heavy lifting. No included 14mm spanner for the castors, which annoyingly needs to be very thin, luckily found a suitable bike spanner. Quality of bolts is poor especially when using Jet's nasty pressed steel spanner which spreads open and is a recipe for skinned knuckles! Cannot understand why Taiwan insists on using poor quality fixings when they are a tiny percentage of the overall cost of the unit. Spot welding alignment poor on the bin lid but otherwise the whole unit is well made. The plastic cover mouldings need warming prior to assembly to avoid breakage.
