The JPT310 has a 307 x 255mm capacity. With the convenience of single-handed table lift (no need to remove the fence), switching from surface planning to thicknessing cannot be easier. With its long tables and precision fence, accuracy comes as standard as well as a super finish every time, thanks to the 3 bladed cutter block. Easy eccentric rod adjustment of the infeed tables plus adjustment of the outfeed tables makes setting of the machine a simple process. 100mm dust extraction outlet keeps the machine clean when connected to a suitable extractor system. This versatile machine features an extra large aluminium extruded fence with centred controls for quick adjustments, a built-in dust chute capable of handling both planing and jointing operations, and a powerful 2.2kW induction motor that can handle the toughest timbers. A heavy-duty, fully welded steel base cabinet houses the motor and the thicknessing table mechanism, while providing solid mounting for the associated controls and support for the surfacing tables and fence assemblies. Best of all, the fence can stay put when changing over functions. The surfacing tables are cast iron, 1,400mm long and precision planed to ensure the most accurate results. This is a great machine to choose for the busy trade workshop.

Fantastic Machine!I waited a year before writing this review to really test the Jet out. I was concerned if it would do the job as it was such good value but absolutely no regrets. It is a superb machine handling everything I have thrown at it from Oak, Walnut and really hard Iroko. Changing from planner to thicknesser takes seconds and the table settings never change meaning the top always gives a flat surface. Changing the blades is a dream, release the lock nuts and you have really accurate height adjustment with allen key bolts, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes. I cannot recommend this machine highly enough!

JPT-310 PLANER/THICKNESSERThis machine is giving me a very nice finish to my Ash with no or little sanding. It took me a lot of research before I purchased this machine but it was well worth the time as I'm really over the moon with the ease that it deals with the timber and its so easy to use when changing from planning to thicknesser
