Very good value for the moneyI've had one of these saws for about 3 years now. It does all it says it will do. It isn't a large machine it's a hobby machine, it's perfect for tracing small shapes.i agree that it won't cut 2" timber but then that's not what it was built for. Cuts 1" timber no problem , just let it work at its own pace.

ExcellentI am very pleased with my choice, took me about an hour to set it up, I have made trial cuts and I am more than happy with the results. When I set the table to 45 degrees it was bang on, without any adjustment!!. I have read the other comments and believe there is no point in expecting to win a motor cycle race with a bicycle.

Good sturdy machineUnboxed set up and running in under an hour. With a few minor adjustments to the guides and a tweak here and there to the pressed steel guards, tension the blade and off you go.Fitting the cast aluminium work table was easy and needed very little adjustment to get it square.Over all I'm very pleased.

Great valueI have never had a bandsaw before and am on a tight budget so this one seemed ideal. Out the box it is a neat and tidy piece of kit and is straightforward to set up. I looked at a review on Youtube and some guy showed that this saw couldn't cut in a straight line. Neither could mine at first. Follow the instructions in the handbook and with a few adjustments the saw cuts absolutely straight. It doesn't seem to lack in power either. Don't ask it to do things that it wasn't designed to do and it should be fine.

general useThis may be irrelevant, as my machine is a different make and bought here in France. It is however identical in every way, and I have had it for more than three years. I buy Axminster bands, and it is a very oft used tool in my workshop. I have never had anything to complain about, and cut wood from pine to oak. Even at the moment kindling for the stoves. I can say that if I could afford it, I would probably buy a bigger saw, but I am more than happy with this one.
