Very good deal.

For the price this machine is outstanding. I set it up with no trouble at all. The trial cuts up to one inch, no problem. I then cut down to one eighth square. As a machine for light work, super.

A Cute Piece of Machinery but.................. !

I have owned my model for some years now. I went for it because of the Brand name but it was somewhat disappointing. The Wheels are Out-of-true with sufficient run-out to give a vibration and a wobble in the blade that is annoying to say the least. It also adds to wear and tear generally. Another point I found is that the guides are difficult to align and set. The wobble in the blade does not help. I am sure the machine was not checked before leaving the production plant. Besides, I cannot understand why for a couple more £'s, branded machines are sold with such substandard blades that are shameful. I replaced it with one from a set I bought with the appropriate spec. for the job at hand and it went through 45mm of Beech-wood like a breeze with good accuracy. The motor, Table and the Chassis are built well enough.

Ok for small pieces

It's not bad I'm terms of value and cuts small pieces well, such a pen blanks, knife blanks, anything 1" or less, however trying to cut 2" plus pieces us a real nightmare.
If you can afford, go for a higher level model.
That is what I will do when I have the cash.

Very good value for the money

I've had one of these saws for about 3 years now. It does all it says it will do. It isn't a large machine it's a hobby machine, it's perfect for tracing small shapes.i agree that it won't cut 2" timber but then that's not what it was built for. Cuts 1" timber no problem , just let it work at its own pace.

I am very pleased with my choice, took me about an hour to set it up, I have made trial cuts and I am more than happy with the results. When I set the table to 45 degrees it was bang on, without any adjustment!!. I have read the other comments and believe there is no point in expecting to win a motor cycle race with a bicycle.
