In Detail

Handed both right hand and left hand, these curved hinges exactly match the curvature of the biscuit jointer blade. The hinges are exceptionally quick to fit and in most instances simply lay the door onto the front of the carcass and both hinge recesses can be cut in one plunge. Supplied in boxes of 20 singles (10 R/H & 10 L/H). Available in Brass.

Good but far from perfect

I bought these hinges for a Communion cupboard and two corner cupboards that I was making out of oak. The largest of the doors being 54 inches and glazed I found that the hinges were very easy and quick to fit, and personally I like the look of them. However there is play in the pins and consequently the leading edge of the door can slightly drop. Also, the hinges can easily become hinge bound as they have dome heads. I used conventional countersink screws and that dealt with that problem. Would I use trhem again? Yes, as they are so quick to fit, but for larger cupboard doors I felt that they required four hiinges per leaf rather than three and that is very expensive.

These are great; unbelievably fast to fit and very accurate. Work well for either overlay doors or inset. I guess you either like or hate the look of them, they definitely are distinctive.
Not mentioned in the product description, is that they're supplied with nice quality Torx screws and even a 25mm Torx driver bit for them (a Wera one no less...).
I got the nickel ones, which have a good quality polished finish.
As a final note, the 'B' setting on my old Trend biscuit jointer (D for Duplex on others, I guess) cut a perfect slot for them.
Thoroughly recommended.
