Description

In Detail

The MINICOL glue dispenser consists of a non-slip base and a glue bottle with a nozzle specifically shaped to fit the groove. After use the bottle is put back into the base which seals the nozzle, preventing blockage and drying out of the glue.

Designed to dispense the glue into the side of the groove with no mess, helping ensuring a stronger hold, a Lamello glue dispenser is a very useful accessory for any biscuit jointer.

Very good so far...

I bought this after a couple of decades of using standard Titebond glue bottles for applying adhesive to biscuits. It's much faster in use than my old method, especially with complicated glue-ups with many biscuits. I haven't experienced the cracking screw cap that Adam mentions in his review but I've only been using it for 10 months. If the cap does crack then I shall probably try to repair it with tape rather than buy again. Time will tell.

Great idea spoilt by lack of spares

I bought a Minicol when I was training as a Cabinet Maker. Sadly, although the bottle and base seem to be of excellent quality the black screw cap is a severe weakness on a +£40 glue dispenser. My first one cracked within 18 months and as they do not supply spares for this item I ended up buying a second one - now that one has also failed at the cap leaving me with a useless item and £80 out of pocket. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next glue dispensing tool.
