The DMR104 will receive FM/DAB reception in many places as well as lots of digital-only stations; simply select the channel name from the display (not suitable for use in countries with DAB+). Rugged in looks and use, it is designed to survive in the harsh outdoors with end panel protectors, chrome control panel 'bull-bars' and an anti-shock loudspeaker system. Fitted with input for auxiliary, it is capable of taking an MP3 Player etc via a jack plug. The Makita DMR104 has a retractable handle grip for ease of carrying, a sprung antennae aerial and a digital push button channel selection system. A single rotating control adjusts sound volume. Virtually any type of power will enable the DMR104 to keep you company on site. A mains transformer adaptor is included in the package for 12V DC operation. Makita NiCd, NiMh and Li-Ion batteries of 7.2V 9.6V, 12V, 14.4V and 18V can be used, as can the 7.2V - 18V range of MakStar slide batteries.

Favourite toolBought after killing two cheapie DABs in 2 weeks. Have dropped it from scaff in a dry dock and 6 Music kept playing. Keeps me sane at work. Runs on Bosch lithium batteries as well. My most favourite tool.
